Lady Blues Cross Country Finishes 25th at Midwest Regional

WAVERLY, Iowa – The Illinois College women’s cross country team capped off the 2023 season with a 27th place finish at the annual Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday at the Max Championship Cross Country Course. Kairy Mercado-Ramos was the pace setter for the Lady Blues, finishing with a time of 26:13.4, good for 149th place. Maddison Dortch finished in 152nd place after posting a time of 26:20.4. IC also had a 160th place finish from Alexia Finch in 26:51.7 while Claire Peters finished in 28:45.7 for 181st place. Morgan Carrino was just two spots behind and finished in 28:49.9. Illinois…
