Nebraska soccer advances with 5-2 win over South Dakota State
The last time Nebraska soccer competed in the NCAA Tournament was in 2016, when it defeated South Dakota State in the opening round. The Huskers repeated that event seven years later on Friday night, this time with a 5-2 victory over the Jackrabbits. South Dakota State and Nebraska clashed throughout the first half, ending with the Huskers ahead 3-2. Nebraska ran away with the lead in the second half, adding two more goals to secure the win.
