The Thunder women’s cross country team takes 11th at the D3 Midwest Regional

Waverly, Iowa – The Wheaton cross country teams competed at the 2023 NCAA Division III Midwest Region Championships on Saturday, hosted by Wartburg College. The Wheaton women’s cross country team placed 11th in the 31-team field. The Wartburg College women’s team finished first in the competition with 37 points. UChicago scored 47 points in second place, Central College (Iowa) finished third with 84 points, WashU was fourth with 88 points, and North Central rounded out the top-five with 241 points.
