Wolves drop season finale at Angelo State
SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Western Oregon football team lost its season finale at Angelo State 31-13 Saturday evening at LeGrand Stadium. While the Wolves (3-8 overall, 2-6 LSC) never led in the contest, they stayed close until the final quarter as they tied the game in the second quarter 7-7 on a Brenden Hodge 8-yard touchdown reception from Gannon Winker and just trailed 14-10 at the half as Charlie Shulkin blasted a 45-yard field goal at the end of the second.
