JACKSON, Tenn. – On Nov. 10, the Union University volleyball team recognized seniors Lauren Burrell and Hannah Hampel for their hard work and dedication prior to their match versus Auburn University Montgomery. Following Hampel’s beautiful rendition of the National Anthem, the match began with the Lady Bulldogs losing 3-1 (18-25, 25-18, 24-26, 16-25). Union’s record fell to 6-24 overall (5-10 GSC), while AUM’s record improved to 22-8 overall (11-4 GSC). Burrell, a senior from Huntsville, Ala., played four seasons as a Lady Bulldog.
