Nicholson Named to All-MEC Tournament Team

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Junior midfielder Andre Nicholson of the Concord University men’s soccer team was selected to the Mountain East Conference All-Tournament Team with the conclusion of the MEC Tournament Sunday evening. Nicholson, a native of St. Catherine, Jamaica, notched his first career brace in Concord’s 3-2 overtime win over West Virginia Wesleyan in the MEC Tournament Quarterfinals last Sunday at home. Nicholson scored CU’s first goal of the game in the first 15 minutes before the game-winning goal in the 110th minute.
