Connolly Cup finalists in high school football announced

Ten players were named finalists for the 51st Connolly Cup on Sunday, organizers announced. The award is given to Western New York’s top high school football player. The award will be presented Dec. 4 at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant in Blasdell. Among the finalists is last year’s winner, Iroquois running back Trevor Barry, and four players from Section VI championship teams: Bennett’s Ja’Meer Thomas, CSP’s Tate Cantanese, Clarence’s Bryce Tubin and Antwan Caesar from Health Sciences/BASC/Global Charter.
