Holland nabs sixth MVC Freshman of the Week honor

ST. LOUIS –Indiana State outside hitter Kira Holland was named the MVC Freshman of the Week for the sixth time this season Monday afternoon after leading the Sycamores in kills in both ends of their weekend sweep. Holland played a key role in both of Indiana State’s wins over the weekend, averaging more than five kills per set in a pair of three-set victories for the Sycamores.
