McCormick, Nagle earn Liberty League praise

Two members of the William Smith College field hockey team were recognized by the Liberty League after two strong performances last week. Senior Kristen McCormick was named the conference’s defensive performer of the week while senior Cora Nagle was named to the weekly honor roll. McCormick had a strong week in goal for the Herons, helping William Smith to a 1-1 week and advancing to the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship second round where the Herons eventually fell to No. 1 Middlebury.
