SMSU volleyball cracks top-five in most recent national poll
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Southwest Minnesota State University volleyball team, after going 1-1 last week at home, cracked the top-five in the 11th regular season American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/ TARAFLEX Top 25 Division II poll released on Monday afternoon. SMSU, ranked as low as No. 11 at one point in the season, and sixth the past few weeks, finished the regular season 23-5 overall, and 14-4 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
