Kazos Earns All-Conference Nod after 200 Kill & 200 Dig Season

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Sarah Lawrence sophomore outside hitter Athena Kazos was named to the Skyline’s all-conference second team on Tuesday, the school’s lone award recipient this season. Kazos led the Gryphons offensively while also making valuable contributions as a defender. Kazos totaled a team-high 264 kills for the Gryphons this season, averaging 3.22 per set which ranked her fifth among all Skyline players. The sophomore from Santa Cruz, California also totaled 234 digs, which was good for second on the team only behind the program’s all-time dig leader Kaille Ferguson.
