ND season comes to an end at Sheridan

SHERIDAN – In the rematch of last year’s football regional on the same field, host Sheridan turned the tables on the Chargers, winning the regional crown 24-20 Friday. North Decatur ends the season at 9-4. The Blackhawks (10-3) advance to face No. 1 Indianapolis Lutheran in the semistate. Sheridan took the opening possession from the 18 yards line and marched the ball down the field. The 19-play (all runs) drive was capped with a 1-yard touchdown run by Zach Bales.
