By: Caleb Philips, Director of Athletic Communications SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior libero/outside hitter Payton Zophy (Clifton Park, N.Y. / Shenendehowa) of the Plattsburgh State women’s volleyball team was selected for the 2023 All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Second Team, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Zophy’s selection is the first All-SUNYAC honor for the women’s volleyball program since 2019 when former Cardinal Michelle Simmons earned third-team recognition.
