Rebekka Luoto And Jasu Ovaskainen Secure NEC Rookie Of The Week Honors For Second Straight Week

Bridgewater, NJ – Freshmen Rebekka Luoto and Jasu Ovaskainen of the Wagner swimming & diving team earned Northeast Conference (NEC) Rookie of the Week honors for their respective performances at LIU, the conference announced Wednesday. This is the second consecutive week that Luoto and Ovaskainen have earned NEC Rookie of the Week. For Luoto, this is her third recognition of the season, while Ovaskainen follows up his NEC Swimmer of the Week selection last week with a second straight rookie of the week nod.
