Volleyball to meet top-seeded FGCU in ASUN Championship quarterfinals

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University volleyball team will face Atlantic Sun Conference regular-season champion FGCU at 7 p.m. (ET) Thursday in Alico Arena in the quarterfinals of the ASUN Championship. Top-seeded FGCU (23-6) went 15-1 in ASUN play and edged Lipscomb by one game for the regular-season title. Jacksonville spoiled the Eagles’ bid for a perfect conference regular season after defeating FGCU 3-0 in the finale. The Eagles had not lost since being edged 3-2 by Maryland on Sept. 16.
