Wodka, McCormick named to NFHCA National Senior Team

Graduate student Mackenzie Wodka and senior Kristen McCormick were recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) for their successful final seasons at William Smith. Wodka and McCormick were two of 60 student-athletes nationwide named to the 2023 NFHCA National Senior Team. William Smith concluded its season at 14-8 (5-2 Liberty League) and clinched the second seed in the conference postseason tournament which led to its second straight Liberty League title. The Herons earned the conference’s automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championships where they fell in the second round to No. 1 Middlebury. Wodka…
