Gettysburg’s Huegel earns all-region nod

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Mary Huegel (Marlboro, N.J./Colts Neck), a sophomore on the Gettysburg volleyball team, has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region 5 team, released on Wednesday. A middle hitter, Huegel was tabbed honorable mention all-region after being named first-team All-Centennial Conference earlier in the week. Appearing in 27 matches, she leads the team with 121 total blocks. She recorded five or more blocks in 13 matches, including eight or more five times.
