Hicks out at Baldwin

Jesse Hicks, head football coach at Baldwin High since 2017, confirmed to The Union-Recorder Thursday afternoon that he was dismissed Thursday morning by school administration. “I was told (the school) was going in another direction,” said Hicks, who was in his second stint as Baldwin High’s football coach, the first being from 2002-2009. “That’s all I can tell you.” Hicks said he was not given any other reasons for the action.
