Lady Bears To Compete In Small College National Tourney This Weekend

RALEIGH, NC – The Shaw women’s soccer team, fresh off winning its first-ever championship, is looking to bring home another trophy this weekend. The Lady Bears (14-4-1 overall) are one of four teams competing in the USCAA Small College National Championship Tournament, which will be held Friday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Montour Junction Sports Complex in Pittsburgh, Pa. Shaw, seeded second, will play third-seeded Maine-Fort Kent (8-2-1 overall) on Friday at 12:45 p.m., the same time that top seed Bryant & Stratton Syracuse meets fourth seed Carlow.
