Ten Gaels Named MAAC Volleyball All-Academic

EDISON, N.J. – Ten members of the Iona University volleyball program were named to the MAAC All-Academic team ahead of this weekend’s MAAC Championship at Fairfield University. The Maroon & Gold representatives met the criteria of completion of two semesters and holding a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20. The 10 Iona student-athletes on the team – all but four of the 14 eligible performers based on tenure – were second most among the 10 MAAC institutions sponsoring volleyball.
