Ashley Earns MVC Scholar-Athlete Second-Team Honors

NORMAL, Ill. – Redbird soccer star, Katharine Ashley, was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Second-Team as announced by the league office on Friday. The Saint Paul, Minnesota native started and played in all 16 games for the Redbirds, finishing her career with 3,991 total minutes played. She helped lead the ‘Birds to two one nil victories over both Eastern Illinois and Southern Illinois while also anchoring the defense to a 2.38 GAA.
