Garden City, N.Y. – The University of Bridgeport women’s soccer team’s 2023 campaign came to an end Friday afternoon after losing to 2-0 Adelphi University in the NCAA East Regional First Round. The hosting number two seed Adelphi Panthers outpaced the seventh seeded Purple Knight offense, registering 14 shots to UB’s five. The loss ends Bridgeport’s season record at 10-8-3 overall.
