LEONARD NAMED METRO REGION ATHLETE OF THE YEAR

Mahwah, NJ: Freshman women’s cross country runner Dale Leonard has been named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Metro Region Athlete of the Year. Leonard earned USTFCCCA Metro All-Region honors last weekend at the regional meet where she brought home the Metro Region Individual Championship. Leonard is the first female runner in program history to qualify for the NCAA Championship Meet, win the Metro Regional Title and be named Metro Region Athlete of the Year. The NCAA Championship race begins at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 18th at Big Spring High School in Newville, PA.
