Minnesota State Knocked From NCAA Tournament by Central Missouri, 2-0

Mankato, Minn. — Fourth-seeded Minnesota State (11-3-5) was knocked in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament by fifth-seeded Central Missouri (16-4-2) in Topeka, Kansas at Yager Stadium Friday afternoon by a final of 2-0. After a scoreless first half, the Mavericks led the Jennies in scoring opportunities and shots on goal 4-3. The Jennies took over the contest in the second half finishing with eight shots compared to the Mavericks four.
