Scots survive Shaw University 2-1 in intense soccer match at USCAA National Championships

PITTSBURG, Pennsylvania – The Lyon College Scots men’s soccer team survived a 2-1 win over Shaw University on Friday morning at the USCAA National Championships. Erik Oliveria scored the game’s first goal in the first half to put the Scots (11-6-1) up 1-0. in the second half battle, Matheus Nunes broke free for a goal just past the Shaw goal keeper to give Lyon College a 2-1 lead at the 18:39 mark of the contest.
