Chavand and Wetzel Earn 2023 Scholar-Athlete Team

NORMAL, Ill.- The Missouri Valley Conference has announced the 2023 Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Teams, in conclusion of the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Championship on October 27th, at Vaughn’s Gap Course in Nashville, TN hosted by Belmont. Junoir Mathis Chavand and senior Charlie Wetzel both earn Cross Country Scholar-Athlete team. Chavand earned a 3.88 average while placing second at Missouri Valley Conference race with 24:31.75.
