Iowa State Men Post Fifth-Place Finish at 2023 NCAA Championships
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Iowa State men’s cross country team stormed back onto the national stage following a season that did not see the entire team qualify for the national championships. Despite not reaching a national ranking higher than 17th, the Cyclones finished fifth at the NCAA Championships, their eighth ever top-5 finish at the national championship. Sanele Masondo led the Cyclones with a 16th place finish and Rodgers Kiplimo finished 37th as both men earned All-America honors for the first time in their respective careers.
