Mammoths race to 18th place at NCAA Championships

NEWVILLE, Pa. – Junior Nick Edwards-Levin paced the Mammoths as the Amherst College men’s cross country team finished 18th in the nation at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Big Spring High School. The Mammoths, who were ranked 23rd in the nation in the final USTFCCCA Division III poll before the meet, steadily improved their position throughout the race and their final result marked Amherst’s highest finish at the national championships since a sixth-place finish in 2018.
