STATE CHAMPS: Highland football team wins state championship game against Coeur d’Alene
POCATELLO — Highland beat Coeur d’Alene 35-28 in the Class 5A state championship game Saturday afternoon at Holt Arena. It gave the Rams (10-1) their 12th state title — the most in Idaho history — and their first since 2017. Drew Hymas scored what was the game-winning touchdown on a 47-yard run with four minutes and 28-seconds remaining. The senior quarterback accounted for all but one Rams score on the day.
