Volleyball Grinds Out 3-2 Comeback Victory at East Carolina
GREENVILLE, N.C. — In perhaps their grittiest match of the season, the Charlotte volleyball team came back from a 2-1 deficit and grinded out a 3-2 (25-22, 8-25, 14-25, 25-19, 15-7) win over East Carolina on Saturday afternoon at Mingles Coliseum. It was a block party for Charlotte (11-19, 4-14 American), as the 49ers registered 18 blocks as a team. Lara Kretschmer led the way with 10 total blocks, adding 10 kills en route to recording a double-double.
