Women’s Soccer Ends Season to No. 6 Lenoir-Rhyne in Second Round of Regionals
Box Score HICKORY, N.C. – The Columbus State University women’s soccer team’s season ends in the second round of the NCAA Southeast Regional, falling to No. 6 and first-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne University after penalty kicks. The Cougars and Bears tied 2-2 after two overtime sessions, but the Bears advance to the next round after beating the Cougars in penalty kicks 4-2.
