Holy Cross played well enough in the regular season to hold the No. 1 playoff seed and the homefield advantage that comes with that. But because of a conflicting event that made City Park’s Tad Gormley Stadium unavailable for nighttime use, Holy Cross and No. 8 Acadiana will play their Division I select state quarterfinal 7 p.m. Saturday at Strawberry Stadium in Hammond.
