Community pep rally planned for Huskies

From Tribune staff reports TRUSSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies burst into the third round of the AHSAA 7A playoffs with a decisive 40-7 win over the Hoover Bucs last Friday. They’ll travel to Alabaster to face the Thompson Warriors this Friday at 7 p.m. It will mark the Huskies first semi-final appearance since 1996. A community-wide pep rally is scheduled for Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Trussville Entertainment District. All are welcome to attend.
