Men’s Soccer: Materazzi, Turner Named to Academic All-District Team

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison redshirt juniors Davide Materazzi and Demitri Turner were named to the College Sports Communicators Division I Men’s Soccer Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon. Those earning all-district honors required a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 without rounding up and must’ve either started in 66% or competed in 90% of all matches. Currently in his first semester in the sport and recreation leadership graduate program at JMU, Materazzi earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management with a cumulative GPA of 3.579 while at Davis & Elkins.
