Pankratz earns program’s first Academic All-Summit League honors

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Junior Ava Pankratz combined academic and athletic standing in 2023 to become St. Thomas women’s cross country’s first ever Summit League Academic All-League selection, as the academic team was announced by the Summit League office Tuesday. Pankratz, a native of Eau Claire, Wis., has helped elevate Tommie Women’s Cross Country on the course and in the classroom, placing among the top 33 of the Summit League Championships over each of her three seasons along with a 4.0 grade-point-average as a biology major.
