Rangers Playoff Shares Smaller Than 2022 Astros
Apparently, the Texas Rangers are more generous spreading out their postseason bonuses than the Houston Astros were last year. A full postseason share for the 2023 World Series champion Rangers totaled $506,263, as part of the largest pool in MLB history. The $107.8 million split among the playoff teams beat last year’s $107.5 million in the first season of the expanded playoffs. The Texas shares were down from Houston’s $516,347 in 2022.
