Three Big Blue Men’s Soccer Players Named CSC Academic All-District

The Millikin men’s soccer team placed three athletes on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, announced Tuesday, November 21. Senior Johannes Smaaberg (Enebakk, Norway), a business management major and forward was the first recipient. Smaaberg started all 16 games for the Big Blue in 2023, scoring seven goals for MU. Sophomore Alvin Brämhagen (Stockholm, Sweden), a sports management major and midfielder, started 15 games, scoring five goals and assisting two others, appearing in all 16 games to tally 1,028 minutes.
