Women’s Soccer: Six Scots Named to Academic All-District Team

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester College women’s soccer sophomores Becky Mulcahy (Baltimore, Md./Roland Park Country School) and Maia Lemov (Delmar, N.Y./Bethlehem Central), junior Gabriela Valle (Compton, Calif./Chadwick School), and seniors Ella Thomsen (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto), Mia Brisbin (Los Angeles, Calif./Crossroads School), and Livi Novello (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) were named to the Division III Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) today. A political science major, Mulcahy started every game this season, proving to be a key outside defender for the Scots. She helped the team to post nine shutouts this season, limiting opponents to 15 goals…
