A Message of Gratitude from the Director of Athletics

To the Members of the Saint Martin’s University Athletics Community: In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln, declared a national Thanksgiving on the last Thursday of November. In 1941, President Franklin Roosevelt signed a Congressional resolution to make Thanksgiving, the fourth Thursday of November, a federal holiday. Today, the tradition often includes gathering with loved ones, watching/playing sports and indulging in family recipes of every kind.
