Amponsah Selected National Athlete of the Year

NEW ORLEANS, LA- William Amponsah of West Texas A&M Men’s Cross Country was named the 2023 NCAA Division II Men’s Cross Country National Athlete of the Year announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Association on Wednesday afternoon. Ampsonah, who hails from Agona Swedru, Central, Ghana, capped an undefeated season with an individual title at the 2023 NCAA DII Cross Country Championships this past weekend in Joplin, Missouri.
