Edina short ‘an inch or two’ in bid for Prep Bowl title

Underdog Edina came within inches of upsetting Centennial in the state Class 6A Prep Bowl finals Friday, Nov. 24, at U.S. Bank Stadium. With Centennial leading 28-21 and only 16 seconds remaining, Edina sophomore quarterback Mason West threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Sonny Villegas.
