The Caravan bounced back strong after their only loss of the season, with junior quarterback Jack Elliott leading the way. Elliott threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 89 yards and a score. Mount Carmel’s defense stifled Downers Grove North’s ground game and kept the pressure on sophomore quarterback Owen Lansu throughout the game. This victory marks Mount Carmel’s 15th title overall, tying them with Joliet Catholic for the all-time lead.
