There have been whispers about Tyler Van Dyke’s future, leaving Miami potentially in the market for a QB. It is important however to consider the flashes that sophomore Jacurri Brown showed throughout the season. There is a very real chance the Hurricanes roll with him in 2024, but if Shapen is willing to come in and fight for the job, he would have an opportunity as well.
