LOUISVILLE, Ky. (November 28, 2023) – Senior Meg Dion and junior Cleo Shannon from the Stevens Institute of Technology women’s volleyball team were named Honorable Mention All-Americans, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), announced Tuesday morning. It is the first career All-American nod for both players. Both players were named to the AVCA’s All Region IV First Team a few weeks ago. Dion earned the prestigious award after being named the MAC Freedom’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year and landed on the Conference’s first team.
