FMU’s Garcia named to All-Region Soccer Team

Francis Marion University senior defender Sebastian Garcia has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) Men’s Soccer All-Southeast Region Team for 2023. The Asuncion, Paraguay native garnered first-team honors. Garcia started all 17 matches this season and played all but 45 minutes. He tallied two goals, one assist, and 10 shots, while anchoring a Patriot defense that allowed only 19 goals in 17 matches and limited opponents to only 4.4 shots on goal per contest.
