Trio of Golden Bears Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 28, 2023) – Western New England women’s soccer saw three of their own named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region II team. Seniors Malina LaCapra and Molly McLaughlin and junior Emma French were announced as representatives for the Golden Bears this season. LaCapra earns her first United Soccer Coaches All-Region II accolades, earning first team honors. The lockdown defender helped Western New England accumulate a 10-5-3 record this season, including grabbing six wins in conference play, and finished the season 6-1-1 over eight games, earning the top spot in the CCC tournament for the second straight season.…
