Women’s Soccer: Women’s Soccer Trio Named D2CCA All-Region

SAN ANTONIO — A trio of St. Mary’s University Women’s Soccer players were named to the D2CCA All-South Central Region team on Tuesday. Sophomore Shelby Paniagua (Cibolo, Texas) earned a spot on the First Team as a midfielder, while both senior defender Jackie Miller (El Paso, Texas) and sophomore forward Sydney Varela (El Paso) were tabbed to the second team. Paniagua tied for the Lone Star Conference lead with both four game-winning goals and nine goals.
