EJ, the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, has had two phenomenal years to start his career at Temple. After taking over the starting role during the Owls‘ second game of the 2022 season, EJ racked up the most completions in a season (268) and the second-most passing yards in a season (3,028) in Temple program history to go along with 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, winning the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year award. EJ has followed that performance up this year with 3,076 yards, 23 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, breaking numerous other program records in the process.
In addition to setting Temple's single-season passing TD record today, EJ Warner also set Temple records for…
200-yard games in a season (10)
250-yard games in a season (7)
300-yard games in a season (4)
Pass attempts in a season (451)
3,000-yard seasons in a career (2)— Kyle Gauss (@kylegauss) November 24, 2023
While EJ was not highly recruited coming out of Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, Arizona, he has proven he not only has what it takes to play at the Division I level but to excel at it. Given his lineage and collegiate success, EJ will be a sought-after quarterback in the transfer portal. With that in mind, here are five potential landing spots for the signal caller.
