Field Hockey’s Abraldes, Franco & Redding Earn NFHCA All-Region Accolades
Three members of The University of Scranton field hockey team garnered National Field Hockey Coaches’ Association (NFHCA) All-Region V honors as announced by the organization on Wednesday morning. Senior forward Katie Redding (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) was selected to the First Team, while fellow senior forward Bridget Abraldes (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem East) and junior defender Lauren Franco (West Chester, Pa./B. Reed Henderson) received Second Team accolades. This marks the third career All-Region selection for Redding, the second for Franco and the first for Abraldes.
