Pimenta Named to AVCA East All-Region First Team

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) of the Southern New Hampshire University women’s volleyball team was selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) East All-Region First Team on Wednesday. Pimenta, who was also chosen for the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) East All-Region Second Team earlier Wednesday, is the first all-region performer in program history and was also the program’s first NE10 All-Conference First Team pick earlier this month.
